Florin Werner succeeded Rich Laws as the band's drummer in the summer of 2024, joining them for the Voyage tour and first recording with them on Pieces of Eight.
Originally from Germany, Florin has been drumming since he was nine years old, and joined his first band at age 15. After moving to England, he attended BIMM Music Institute in Bristol, where he earned a degree in Music Industry Management.
He also toured and recorded with The Bean Baker Band (in which JD has also played) and has worked with several other bands and musicians, including Red Jasper, The Boulevards (a point in common with both JD and Andy), and some of Andy's pre-Johns solo efforts. In addition, he has significant experience with musical theater and pantomime, having played on tours of Rent, Jersey Boys, and Strictly Ballroom, as well as several original shows.
