The seventh (or eighth) studio album from The Longest Johns, Ends of the Earth was announced on the January 2026 livestream, with the Kickstarter campaign running through 15 March. It was officially released on 1 May 2026. The album art was created by Canadian comics artist James Stokoe. In a departure from recent albums, nearly all of the songs are Longest Johns originals, with only one traditional song (Hey John Barleycorn) and one modern cover (Jolly Roving Tar) being featured.
