A TLJ original, written by Robbie Sattin and released as track 2 on Ends of the Earth on 1 May, 2026. The song details the fictional trials of life aboard a pirate ship with a temperamental captain; during the album launch listening party, Robbie remarked that it "almost feels like a prequel to Hoist up the Thing."
Factoids
Pull the yan is a reference to the Johns' version of Santiana. In the first verse, Robbie added an original line, "Napoleon of the West, they say", but at some point an automated transcription rendered the line, "Now pull the yan up the west, they say". Despite being completely nonsensical, this version proliferated online, even appearing in some other artists' recordings.
